User Scenarios
User scenarios are the stories that your user personas act out. They are usually represented visually and you can predict how certain types of users, represented by your personas will interact with your website/application in a given situation in order to complete a given goal.

User scenarios are a useful tool as it gives the designer an idea of the possible target audience and what the users may look for in the product.
Example
As an example, we shall follow the User Scenario of Angela. The project design is a PDA airport guide that allows for quick navigation to locations within an airport.

Listed above is a bit of Angela’s personality as well as her goals. Once we understand our personas, we create plausible scenarios to explore the interactions they’ll have with the product.
The user scenario is as followed: Angela has a short 30-minute layover in an unfamiliar airport. She really wants to grab a cup of coffee before she heads to her connecting flight but does not know where to go.
Once we have a solid understanding of the problem, the persona and the context in which the persona will use the product, we develop the specifics of the design. Scenarios help designers identify what functions of an app or website will help satisfy Angela’s goals.
In response to the scenario, the following design below has been submitted

Reflection
During this lecture pod, I had learnt that understanding user scenarios is extremely important as it is a key component in designing when it comes to user experience. User scenarios enables the designer to test site structures, and isolate problems before they happen in reality. User scenarios are a huge design factor that can determine a website or applications overall success.
